On being an artist

Life as a creative individual that strives to exist counter culturally to most societal systems have it more difficult than those who do not.

Making art; getting out ideas and manifesting them in a physical form is such a powerful practice. One could argue, a practice that isn’t formally respected by “productive” society in general. Internalizing this as an artist, one who actively visualizes thoughts and ideas, proves an uphill climb – succumb to economic constraints society will hold on you or make your own way through your art. There are many ways to position yourself in this seeming dilemma, but the importance remains that persistence will prevail positive outcomes and let us lead the life we intend to through our work.
